A small 4m x 3m moderately growing deciduous tree which produces masses of pink flowers with golden anthers which look absolutely astonishing. Leaves are dark green turning orange/purple/red in Autumn.

Extremely pretty, small 7m x 5m medium growing deciduous tree. Produces clusters of pale pink flowers over Summer and Autumn. A hardy vase shaped tree which is adaptable to many conditions but best under full sun and moist soils. Suited to small gardens.

Liquidamber styraciflua
Sometimes known as Redgum/Sweetgum. Grown from a seed. This tall 20m x 10m pyramidal shaped deciduous tree is known for its attractive Autumn display of orange, red and purple leaves. Colour will vary due to this tree being a seedling. Leaves remain shiny green in Spring and Summer. Moderately salt and frost hardy. Prefers fertile, moist, well drained acidic loam/clay soils. Plant in full sun or partial shade.
Liriodendron — Tulip tree
Liriodendron tulipifera
A large rapidly growing - up to 40m - deciduous tree with pretty heart shaped leaves turning from bright green to a wonderful yellow in Autumn. Flowers are green/yellow and are cup shaped or 'tulip' like in Spring. This tree does not flower every year. Tulip trees grows in numerous conditions but prefer deep rich, moist soils. Has low drought tolerance but enjoys shade. Fantastic shade or specimen tree in larger sites.
