Olive — Pendolino
Olea Europaea 'Pendolino'
This variety has small purple-black unbalanced oval shaped fruit with an excellent oil quality. This is a slow growing tree, evergreen with a weeping canopy. The leaves are quite narrow and long with dark green on top and silvery grey beneath. It is an excellent pollinator for other varieties. Oil quality is excellent.
Maturity: Early autumn
Olive — Ascolana
Olea Europaea 'Ascolana'
Very large, light green and delicate fruit. Produces high quality table olives and has an intense green slightly weeping canopy. Good resistance to cold, peacock spot and olive fly.
Maturity: April to May
Pear — Sensation
Pyrus communis 'Sensation'
Sensation is a prolific bearer maturing during mid February. Fruit is medium to large, ovate, pyriform and red in colour which brightens on maturity with a yellow under-colour.
Maturity: approximately mid February
Apple — Anna
Malus domestica 'Anna'
Anna produces large conical shaped fruit, red on a yellow background with a crunchy texture. It is a low chill variety and is suitable for planting in metropolitan and coastal areas. Requires well drained soil and full sun and an open air position.
Maturity: Early February
Fig — White Adriatic
Ficus Carica 'White Adriatic'
Medium growing high yielding tree. Produces delicious flavoured medium to large sized conical fruit. Pale pinkish, red flesh and yellow to greenish brown skin. White Adriatic are self fertile producing two crops every year in approximately early Summer and late Autumn. Start cooking because this Fig makes excellent jam. Is also nice fresh or dried.
