Pyro 2-33 has no known imcompatibilities and produces trees larger than the pyrodwarf, which are very precocious and crop in two to three years. Shows similar vigour to OHXF97. Trees are frost hardy and well anchored. Pedigree 'old home' x 'Bonne Luis d'Auranches'

Pedigree 'old home' x 'Bonne Luis d'Avranches'. Pyrodwarf rootstock is compatable to most varieties. It has low vigour but crops well with uniform fruit in two to three years. Trees produced are approximately 50% smaller than OHXF97. They appear to shut down earlier and hold fruit buds on shooty tips. Pyrodwarf have good anchorage and show resistance to frost, lime induced chlorosis and some resistance to fireblight. A bonus is no sucker development.

A widely cultivated persimmon variety, with good drought tolerance, having a deep tap root system with few fibrous laterals. Trees dislike salty soils but tolerate clay, loam and sand providing it is moist and well drained. They love mild conditions through Summer / Winter and have great vigour. This rootstock is suited to non-astringent varieties and also Fuyu.

Marianna 2624 is a semi dwarfing plum rootstock, which is incompatible with Almonds, Nectarine, and Peaches. Trees have a shallow root system before they become established and cope particularly well in wet heavy soil. Marianna 2624 has excellent tolerance against oak root fungus and some resistance against root/crown rots and phtophthora. May suffer from bacterial cancer and crown gall. Trees sucker strongly.

Myrobalan H29C is compatible with plums, apricots and almonds. It produces vigorous growing trees suited to many soil conditions coping well in wetter areas with its shallow root system. It root knot nematode resistant.
