Is compatible with peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, prunes and almonds. Vigorous rootstock which crops well and grows in free draining soils to sandy sites. Is resistant to root knot nematodes but susceptible to ring nematode, root lesion nematode, bacterial canker, waterlogging, salty soils and lime induced chlorosis.

Tetra is a plum rootstock, similar to Penta which is compatible with all stonefruit (peach, almond, plum and apricot) Trees bear early with a good crop - approximately 25% than nemaguard. Tolerance to heavy wet soils, high Ph and phytophthora has been shown. Suscptability to rootnot nematode has been noted in California.

Penta is a plum rootstock compatible with all stonefruit. It is semi dwarfing 85% for the first 4 years after which trees become vigorous. Trees bear early with good crop - approximately 25% higher than nemaguard. Penta is tolerant to heavy/wet soils, high Ph, Nematodes, verticillium and phytophthora.

Prunus Kyrmsk or Kuban 86 is a unique rootstock being compatible with peach, nectarine, Japanese plums and numerous Almonds. Trees produce heavy crops and are vigorous. Some trunk and root suckers will occur. Kuban 86 has a good root system which adapts to numerous soils and condtions (tolerant of water logging, calcareous soils and suitable for replant sites.) May replace Marianna plum rootstock. Is susceptible to root knot nematodes.

Vigorous growing tree produces a strong root system which prefers sites with good soil moisture and drainage. Grows in calcareous soils. Few suckers are produced by Hansen 536. Trees are very susceptible to bacterial canker and phytophthora. Also handle with care as roots are delicate in transplanting situations.
