Eleyi Crab Apple - Malus x purpurea 'Eleyi'

Eleyi is an ornamental deciduous crab apple growing between (3-6m) tall. This rounded shape tree blossoms in Spring with masses of exquisite rose-crimson flowers while in Autumn its leaves change from dark red with red veins to a shade of purple-green. It has small cherry size fruit suitable for making crab apple jam. Prefers well drained moist soil in full sun to part shade.

Disease: Is susceptible to diseases if over fertilized or pruned hard.
