The variegated Cumquat is a highly ornamental tree with variegated foliage. Like other cumquats they grow well in tubs, but tend to mature unevenly.

Maturity: Matures in Winter. Fruits throughout Autumn to winter but usually blossoms in November.
Fruit size: Medium sized.
Fruit shape: Round, slightly oval.
Skin: Thin, loose and striped light green and yellow.
Flesh colour: Orange.
Texture: Few seeds.
Flavour: Acidic and juicy.
Seed or stone: Seeded.
Storage: Good for shipping.
Storage period: several months.
Yield: Highly productive. Can produce several crops throughout the year if its a good year.

Harvest notes: Harvested when they reach full colour with leaves attached to enhance quality.
Comments: Good tub specimen. Used to garnish food.
