Apple — Granny Smith DWARF

Malus domestica 'Granny Smith'

Dwarf Apple label

This versatile variety has been grafted onto a dwarfing rootstock (60% of standard) and still produces full size fruit! Granny Smith are wonderful straight off the tree or in cooking. Trees produce a bright green conical shaped, medium / large apple in April. Its crispy, cream coloured flesh tastes slightly tarty but ripens if left to hang on the free. Trees crop heavily and being a dwarf will require extra care - provide support by staking. Water well.
