Italia is a popular fragrant grape eaten fresh and suitable for wine. Fruit is large with golden green coloured skin and clear white flesh. Grapes have a mild muscat flavour and mature in February.

Disease: Fungal diseases cause problems in humid regions- Downy and Powdery Mildews, Botrysis and Black spot. Zinc deficiency may occur in Alkaline soils. Pests include; Birds, Mites, Mealy Bugs, Weevils, Rabbits, Snails and Light Brown Apple moth.
