A very productive tree which produces delicious large, dark red, firm, juicy cherries. Sun Burst are a very versatile cherry divine fresh or use in cooking and preserving. Is susceptable to rain cracking and wind damages fruit - plant in a sheltered location.

Growing conditions: Plant cherries in deep well drained fertille soils from gravels to sandy loams with a pH between 6.2 /6.8. Plants prefer full sun and good air circulation which prevents ripe cherries splitting under rainy conditions. Aviod areas prone to strong winds.
Disease: Brown Rot, Bacterial Cranker and Charry Leaf Spot.
