This early season variety will require thinning to produce good sized (small to medium) round oblong fruit. Glengarry has a light apricot flesh and yellow/red blushed skin with a good sweet flavour. It is self fertile and a low chill variety. Glengarry can be eaten fresh or made into jams and stews.

Cultivation notes: Requires good water over the growing season. Is frost sensitive. Plant in full sun with well drained soils. Fruit may need thinning to increase overall fruit size.
Harvest notes: Pick when firm. Lasts 1-2 weeks at zero degrees - has a short shelf left. If unripe store at room temperature in a dark place. Once fully ripe lasts 1-4 days in a plastic bag in the fridge. Handle carefully as apricots bruise easily.
