Castanea sativa
Very easy to harvest as nuts fall free from shell. Fruit size is medium to large, dark brown with stripey skin. Plant other varieties near for pollination. This tree is an average cropper.

Heavy cropping tree which produces large nuts with a small base. Brown/red in colour with a stripey appearance. Fantastic flavour and stores well. Plant with other varieties for pollination.
