Superior red strain of 'Gala' due to the red colouring earlier in the season compared to other strains. May have the potential of producing a good red skin colour in growing areas that generally struggle to attain colour. Possibly too dark in areas where good colouring usually occurs. Matures approximately - early 25 days before Red Delicious

Fruit information
Fruit size: Medium for season, similar to Gala.
Fruit shape: Round-oblong.
Skin: 100% bright glossy red colour with prominent lenticels. Full red blush when mature with a slight striping evident.
Flesh colour: Creamy white.
Texture: Firm, crisp, juicy.
Flavour: If picked early fruit can be quite acidic, skin colour can be good up to 20 days before internally mature.
Yield: Requires thinning to attain size especially as tree ages.
