Late Lane Navel Orange - Citrus sinensis 'Late Lanes'
Sometimes known as Lane Late Navel. Similar to the Washington Navel, this fruit matures later in the season. Although the fruit is sweet and juicy, it is not as popular due to the increase in granulation.

Maturity: Late maturing. Mid July to November approximately.
Fruit size: Small and concealed navel.
Fruit shape: Oblong.
Skin: Early season rind colour is less intense. Rind generally gets thinner and smoother.
Flesh colour: Bright orange.
Flavour: Lower sugar and juice content than the Washington Navel.
Seed or stone: Seeded.
Storage: Cold storage.
Storage period: Up to 6 weeks but not long as quality deteriorates quickly.
Yield: Yield is approximately 20% less than Washington Navel.
