The Ruby blush originated from the Thompson and is sometimes known as the Redblush. This tree produces high quality fruit which is quite acidic and very sweet.

Maturity: Spring through to Winter.
Fruit shape: Round, slightly oval.
Skin: Pinkish blush, firm smooth skin.
Flesh colour: Pale pink.
Texture: Low seed numbers.
Flavour: Highly acidic and sweet.
Seed or stone: Seeded.
Storage: cold storage.
Storage period: up to 14 days approximately.

Growing conditions: Prefers full sun and well drained soil.
